RuneScape Winter Extravaganza!

The snow is falling, the central heating is on full and scarf and glove sales are rocketing. Fear not! The RuneScape Community management team has put together a fantastic range of events to keep you warm and amused over the festive season!

For all of the RuneScape community we’re putting together a number of Christmas parties and a very special Scavenger Race. This event will run daily from the 20th of December through to the 23rd and as an early festive gift we’ll make sure there is a party available for different time zones. As well as having fun and mingling with others, the Scavenger Race winners could find themselves with an extra present this Christmas!

We’ve also got plenty of winter-themed joy for our Dutch and Belgian community to experience with a special Winter Festival to celebrate! If you remember our summer festival you should have an idea of the amusement on offer. The festival runs from the 18th to the 23rd of December. On the 18th of December at 15:00 GMT (16:00 Dutch time) there will be a massive opening party in Falador Park.

We have something extra special planned for the Triumvirate this festive period! At the end of the year we’ll be wiping the influence slates clean for all three factions and the faction with the most influence at the end of the year will forever be heralded as the faction winners of 2010. We’ll be running a series of challenges from the 13th December through to the 9th January 2011, which will cover everything from forum debates through to skilling challenges and PvP! If you’ve never given the Triumvirate a go, now is the perfect time to get involved with these three great communities!
