The Clan Camp is now launched and clans have officially hit RuneScape with a bang, so what’s in store for clans from a community perspective? We haven’t just been helping the RuneScape development teams test and shape the updates; we’ve been planning a whole host of fantastic events and competitions for clans new or old to get involved with.

Firstly, we have the Skilling Ladder (Beta) that launched last week for those competitive skillers among the community. Season 1 kicks off from 18th April for six months, so make sure that you’re signed up and ready to go. Towards the end of April, we’ll be launching the Rated Clan Wars Tournament. Using the Rated Clan Wars system implemented today, we’ll be taking the top 16 clans from the Hiscores and seeding them for the tournament against anyone else brave enough to prove themselves in battle. Battles will take place on the Rated Clan Wars map so points can be earned and lost – who can prove themselves to be the master of the new map?

Looking further afield to May and June, we move into competition territory! We'll have a number of skilling challenges and competitions similar to those we ran over the Bonus XP Weekend – individuals and clans alike are welcome. Everyone likes to have their names up in lights, so if you think you have what it takes, get signed up and onto our Hall of Fame!

Of course, it wouldn’t be a complete year for the clan community without the Clan Cup 2011. With further tweaks and additions to make it easier to take part and more fun to compete this year, it’s going to be the biggest cup season yet!
